Mozilla has released the Firefox Beta for Android v 14.0. Not so much difference but the browser UI has changed, some bugs are squashed and stability is improved. </div>

LG brings its new phablet namely LG Optimus VU, integrating phone and tablet in one.The phablet is powered by the 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm MSM8660 chipset CPU and 1 GB RAM.<br />

It comes with 5″ HD-IPS LCD of 1024 x 768 pixel resolution with 4:3 aspect ratio. Little difference from 16:9 screen it goes for 4:3 motivating from the fact that it offers more room for reading. Initially it runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread version which is not satisfactual since 4.1 Jellyfish is available.<br />

The phablet in box pack consists of all as usual- a microUSB cable, a charger, a headset, manuals, SIM removal tool and lastly a LG Rubberdium Stylus. The stylus is made thick for holding easiness but unfortunately there is no slot for it in the phablet, rather it has to carry like pen.<br />
<br />
The pre-installed different apps including office document editor, ebook reader, video editor, NFC apps and many more makes the performance excellent. The 8MP camera with LED flash and face detection service makes nice snapshot and video recording. The interna 32 GB is awesome but there is no any card slot to extend it. <br />

Apple has quitely quit the claiming of Virus immunity to Mac OS. Apple has removed a statement from its message on its website that Mac operating system is virus proof.<br />
 The previous statement "It doesn't get PC viruses." is replaced by the new statement "Its built to be safe." and "Safeguard your data. By doing nothing." with "Safety. Built in.".<br />
<br />
According to Sophos U.S. senior technology consultant Graham Cluley, this is a sign that Apple is starting to take security seriously.<br />

 brightness, timeout, Wi-Fi, and Auto-Sync with a single tap by adding 
the Power Dashboard to your home screen.  Press and hold an open spot on
 the home screen, select “Settings (HTC)” from the widgets drop-down 
list, then select “Power Dashboard.”</li>
<li>Monitor your battery usage stats to see what’s consuming the most power. In Settings, tap Power > Battery use.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">As with any computer, you want to make 
sure you have the most recent, available updates. This is no different 
for your HTC Phone, where these software updates sometimes include 
battery usage improvements.  In Settings, tap About > Software 
updates.</li>
</ul>

<b><i>Sync Settings:</i></b><br />
<ul>
<li>Continually syncing unused services impacts overall battery 
performance. You can customize your settings and sync only essential 
items in Accounts & sync under the Settings menu</li>
<li>Selecting “Smart Sync” in Mail settings ensures you update e-mail 
based on how you use your phone. This helps preserve batter life and 
also avoid interruptions when you’re playing videos on your phone or 
when you leave it idle at night.</li>
<li>When you’re not jumping from one city to another, sync weather 
updates of only your current city, rather than in all of your named 
locations. In the Weather app, tap Menu > Edit to remove unneeded 
cities.</li>
</ul>

<b><i>Managing Wireless Connections:</i></b><br />
<ul>
<li>Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS <i>LOVE</i> the battery.   Turning these
 features off when you’re not using them will help you maximize battery 
life.  Slide the notifications panel, and then tap Settings to see the 
items to disable.</li>
<li>Your phone uses up more power in low coverage areas. Check your 
network signal, and then select an appropriate network mode in Mobile 
network settings. Or, turn it off when you’re not connected to a 
network.</li>
<li>Connecting to location services uses more battery.  Be sure to close
 the navigation app, such as Maps and Locations, after using it on your 
phone.</li>

<b><i>Managing Your Display:</i></b><br />
<ul>
<li>Adjust your display settings. Lower screen brightness when playing 
music on the lock screen. Or set the screen timeout to a shorter time 
(if you don’t manually turn off the display).</li>
<li>Create a Basic scene for your home screen in All apps > 
Personalize > Scene. Add your favorite shortcuts, remove extra home 
panels, and choose non-animated wallpaper. Use this scene when your 
power is going low. Then switch to your regular home screen when you’ve 
recharged.</li>
<li>Set your phone to auto-dim the screen while webpages load. Open the 
Internet app, tap Menu > Settings > Accessibility > Dim screen 
during page loading. </li>
</ul>

<i><b>Managing Your Apps:</b></i><br />

<li>Uninstall or disable apps you don’t use. In Settings, tap Apps > 
All, and then select the app to uninstall or disable. (Note that if you

your battery. In Play Store, for example, tap Menu > Settings, and

The Google Driverless Car has got first license in May 2012. The license was issued to a Toyota Prius modified with Google's Driverless Technology. This technology is currently being led by Google Engineer Sebastian Thrun, director of Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and co-inventor of Google Street View.</div>

The technology collects information from Google Street View with A.I software that combines with input from video cameras inside the car, a LIDAR sensor at top, Radar sensors on the front and a Position sensor attached to one of its  rear wheels that calculate car's position. An attorner for the California Department of Motor Vehicles raised concerns that the Technology is beyond the law in may areas. The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles, which issued the first license for a self-driven car, had no immediate plans to commercially develop the system.</div>

Dell Inspiron Duo is notebook convertible into tablet with an unconventional conversion mechanism. Its 10.1" display with 1366*768 pixel density makes the images and video looks decent. The Duo is so thin on ports and connections and includes an SD card slot and an Ethernet port which are both found on the dock. Since it consists 105 GHz Intel Atom N550 processor, it is expected that its performance will be high but its not noticeably better than the single core processor. And its cost ranges between £449 and £529 (ex. VAT).<br />
