The latest version of Google Earth app for iOS is featured with the 3D imaging, as announced by Google on Thursday. For the instant, the Apple user can browse through Boston, Charlotte, Boulder, Long Beach, Lawrence, San Diego, Santa Cruz, Tampa, Tucson, and the San Francisco Bay Area as well as Rome, Italy.
The Google Earth Product manager, Peter Birch wrote in a blog,"With today's release of Google Earth for iOS you can literally fly through breathtaking 3D city landscapes and images and follow virtual tours of places you've never been- all with a simple swipe of your fingertip".
The new Tour Guide allows to discover and explore different amazing places around the world, that you don't know how to search them. Tour can be started simply by clicking the thumbnail images. The available thumbnail images will dynamically updated and some of the images are also from the user created Picasa and Panoramio photos.
The Google Earth for Android is already popular and for all iOS devices, you can download from the iTunes. More information can be obtained from the Wikipedia and blog.
